Colaiste Cholmcille Open Day

The Open Day for in-coming First Years 2022/2023 will take place on Saturday, May 7th from 10am to 3pm. The day's structure is outlined below.

10am -1pm - CAT Tests for all incoming 1st years.

1pm - 1:30pm - Lunch in the school

1:30 - 3pm Tours of the site - Parents are welcome to attend the tour with their child.

What to bring on the day:

Packed Lunch , Bottle of water. Please note that canteen facilities will not be available.

Arrival

Please arrive at the main entrance of Coláiste Cholmcille between 9:45am and 10am. It is important that students are on time to facilitate the smooth running of the assessments. Staff will be there to welcome your child.

Tour of the building

After lunch, a collection our current students will bring our in-coming First Years and their parents on a guided tour of the school, which will help them to familiarise themselves with the building. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to allow tours to get organised. 1:30pm -2:15pm:

Tour for students from: Carbury NS, Cliffony NS, Four Masters, NS, Gaelscoil Eirne, Robertson NS, Kilbarron NS, Rockfield NS, S N Bhride, S N Molaoise, Scoil Mhuire, St Ernans, St MacCartans, St John the Baptist Roscor. Please collect from school by 2:15pm.

2:15pm-3:00pm: Tour for studnets from: Creevy, Scoil Naomh Chaitriona, Holy Family. Please collect from school by 3pm.

Clothing

Students should dress comfortably. They are not required to wear their primary school uniform. Students can wear a mask should they wish to.
